Princeton is unique in a lot of ways. One of the most interesting things about Princeton is the fact that it has such well defined neighborhoods for such a small area. Here are a list of Princeton neighborhoods and a short description on each.
The Littlebrook Neighborhood: Located on Princeton’s northeast corner, ‘Littlebrook’ is one of the largest neighborhoods that stradles both the borough and the township. This particular section, as are several others, is named after its grammar school. The large area has a lot of diversity in its housing stock, to the capes and small ranches on Stanley and Roper to large estates and even the occasional farm as you move northeast. Littlebrook is easily accessible by both Princeton Kingston Road and Snowden Ave which act as the main arteries in the neighborhood.
The Riverside Neighborhood: If there is one section of town that shares a particular closeness with Princeton University it is the Riverside neighborhood. It is located right across the road from Littlebrook though due to the fact that is is bordered on the east by Carnegie Lake and in the west by Princeton University it lacks the size and housing density of Littlebrook. Riverside also has an eclectic mix of houses from the historic Jugtown area to the rapidly redeveloping Lake Drive, which overlooks Carnegie Lake. Riverside also boasts Hillier designed condos and townhouses. The large lots, canopied trees and proximity to the University continue to drive demand for this gem of a neighborhood.
