1. ‘What does it mean when a search engine indexes my site?’ Basically, it is a fancy word for the search engine’s ability to find and remember your site. The more your site is indexed, the more readily it will get found in search results by your next customer.

2. True/ False  Facebook Business Pages are not indexed by search engines? False. Facebook Business Pages are definitely ‘searchable’ by the major search engines. Imagine if you built a killer website and got it to the first page of Google….imagine if you built a Facebook business page that matches your site and it made it to the first page of Google. Now you are becoming UNAVOIDABLE to the customer…they will find your site and than you.

3. How high a percentage of search results can you control if your search engine is #1 at Google?  The short answer…A lot. Check this quote out from www.training.seobook.com

Bingo!!!! And a lot of it! So the idea is to get your website well constructed and make sure that it gets to the #1 spot at Google.

4. True/ False:   Search Engine Optimization should take place after a web site gets built. False.  A Realtor website is a combination of good content, structure and relevancy. If a Real Estate website is not built with all three, than it will never have good search engine results. For more specific ideas on this, see me.

5. What are the #1 & #2 Features that a Customer wants to see on a Realtor’s web site? #1 is Search. If you went to a website to look to buy a car you would want to be able to browse the inventory of cars. Same on a Realtor web site. If you don’t have a custom IDX search level you don’t have a site. #2 Sold Homes. Your customers love to look at what their neighbors homes have sold for. If you are not placing Sold Homes on your site you are missing the boat or more importantly missing what the consumer wants.
